We always welcome applications from prospective graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. While our needs in particular skills vary depending on a current situation, we usually expect candidates to be able to program and to know how to handle a pipetman. If you can do only one of the above, but you are really proficient at it, substitute the above and with or. Speaking of AND's and OR's, did you know that LAPTI is just a few meters away from a place where George Boole lived?
If you are interested in joining lapti, please send an e-mail to moc.liamg@itpaltakrow (reverse the address) with information on: (1) What is your formal education; (2) What are your real skills (computational, experimental, social); (3) Your publications (if any, though if you are looking for a postdoctoral position you are expected to have some by now); (4) Why do you want to work in lapti; (5) How to contact at least two individuals who have agreed to serve as your references; (6) Any additional information that you believe might be relevant. Two requirements: (1) Do not attach anything to your e-mail, all information should go into e-mail body in the plain text format. (2) The size of the text in your message should be below 5kb (5119 characters is OK). Warning: If your e-mail letter does not satisfy these two simple rules it may be discarded without opening.
For those who are interested in pursuing M.S. or Ph.D. degree, there are additional academic requirements set by UCC. Please, verify that you satisfy those requirements before applying to lapti.
